soft paratha bread; my style

This is the bread that i always make everyday....

Ingredients:
1. flour 1 bowl
2. salt 1/2 tsp
3. sugar 1 tsp
4. yeast 1 tsp, mix with little warm water
5. little margarine
6. water

Mix all the ingredients, put water little by little, until it is good enough to become bread dough. Divide the dough into small balls, and cover with  plastic,let it makes fermentataion. Usually i keep minimum for 1 hour to make it soft. the longer i keep, i will get softer and bigger dough.
After that, roll it, then bake it. Dont forget to put little margarine in the frying pan before baking, to make more tasty.

simple chocolate cake


This is just a simple chocolate cake i made....
Ingredients and directions:
# prepare: flour 1/2 small bowl (maybe 100 gram something), 2 spoon full sugar, 1 spoon full milk, little salt, 1 tsp chocolate milo, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp margarine, 1 egg, and add enough water ( i put only half of glass). Mix properly.
# bake it well or steam it well. In the picture above, I did by steaming only...

Mie baso; Meat ball noodle



Ingredients and directions:
1. prepare ready noodle, and pangsit.
2. for the curry; fry onion garlic, till become brown, then put water, and baso. add salt, chili powder, tomato sauce, chili sauce, oyster sauce, soya sauce, little maggi block.
3. serve in bawl, noodle, pangsit, put the baso and curry.

Note: to make pangsit, i used flour, hot water, little salt, little oil. mix and make it like bread dough. roll it till become thin, cut into small size, then fry it.
for baso, check again my posting about chicken meat ball. i made alot as a stock, so i can cook anytime....

plain bread cake; baked in frying pan


I got the idea to make bread cake today. so here is the recipe, very simple method......^_^

Ingredients and directions;
1. crush plain bread, mix with condensed milk, until the bread become soft. Add 1 egg, sugar little salt, little baking powder, little custrad powder. Put some water if needed. mix it well.
2. for chocolate ball, i used 1 spoon of milo mixed with flour and little water. shape it in small balls.
3. prepare the frying pan, put some margarine on it, bake the bread well, put the chocolate ball on the top of it.
4. bake it well

special kangkung, chili fish taste kangkung


I made special kangkung in chilli fish taste....

Ingredients and directions:
1. clean and cut kankung into small pieces.
2. fry slices of onion, chili, tomato, till it become golden. the put kangkung. add salt, sugar. 1 tsp pasta fish, 3-4 spoon tuna can, 3 spoon chili tuna sambol, 1 tsp chili powder, and 2 -3 tsp oyster sauce.
3. mix it well. and cook until the kangkung become soft.

eat with bread or hot rice....mmmm, yummy ^_^

Siomay ball tuna


Actually, i did experiment making baso with tapioca flour, but i feel the taste look like siomay...so i called this food siomay ball tuna.....


Siomay or sumay is actually food from china. In my place, this food is very common, can be found easily everywhere. they eat with peanut sauce. I have not made any sauce yet, well, later i will make the sauce...^_^

Ingredients and directions:
1. take 3-5 spoon of tuna can, add salt, chopped garlic, pepper powder, maggi taste block, baking powder, normal flour, and tapioca flour. put cold ice water. mix them well.
2. then shape it like a baso ball. put it into boiled water until it floats. then dry it.
3. steam it well
4. serve with peanut sauce

tomato chicken curry

Today i cooked chicken curry in peeled tomato sauce. I mixed with baso, and rind of watermelon....^_^
fantastic, very tasty....

Ingredients and directions;
1. cut boneless chicken, rind watermelon, into small cubes. then cut baso into half slices.
2. fry some slices of onion, garlic, till it turned golden brown, then put peeled tomato (i used 1 full can), put little water if needed, put the chicken, rind of watermelon, and baso.
3. add 1 tsp tomato paste, 1 tsp tomato sauce, 1 tsp chili sauce, 1 tsp chicken curry powder, 1 tsp fish curry powder, 1 tsp chili powder, salt and little sugar.
4. mix it well, and let it until the chicken, rind of watermelon, and baso, properly cook.

chicken meat ball, bakso

This is the most favourite food for me....baso..baso.....
Yesterday i made chicken baso, im so happy finally i can eat baso here.....^_^

Ingredients and directions:
1. take chicken boneless, chopped it. add corn flour, salt, chopped garlic, pepper powder, maggi chicken taste block, little baking powder, white egg, and ice cold water. Mix them all well.
2. make it in ball form, then put into boiled water, untill baso floats. then dry it.

you can use for making soup, curry, or simply can eat like snack....

Potato Risolle

I like this food very much, potato risolle....mmm , yummy

Ingredients and directions;
1. fry some potato, then blend it.
2. prepare;  carrot (cut into small boxes pieces), tuna, garlic, red onion. fry them all together. add enough salt and sugar, then mix with the flour solution.
   Note: flour solution means 1 spoon of flour mixed with water, arround 4-5 spoon of water.
3. take 1 spoon the blended potato, and put inside the frying one that we prepared (no.2) then cover it. put potato into white egg, then put it into bread cum powder. fry it in much oil. deep frying is better.

chicken soto


This is one of my favourite food, soto ayam, chicken soto...
Ingredients and directions:
1. boil chicken in much water, till it get soft, take the chicken, make into small pieces.
2. prepare; red onion, garlic, corriander, ginger, turmeric, blend them all. then fry it in little oil, until the smell is
    good. then put it into boiled water that we used before to boiled chicken. and add coconut milk.
3. put the chicken pieces into it. add enough salt and sugar.

serve with chili, and hot rice.

Chili dried potato, mixed with tuna

Ingredients:
1. potato 2 or 3 , medium size, cut into small pieces
2. fish can tuna 3 spoon
3. salt 1/4tsp
4.little water
5. some slices of onion, and gralic for frying
6. fish curry powder 1 tsp
7. chilli powder 1/2 tsp
8. little sugar

Direction;
fry potato until become soft, then dry it
fry onion, and garlic, until it turn golden brown, then put water, salt, sugar, tuna, fish curry powder, chilli, mix them well! then put the fried potato.

Tuna Samosa, Bajiya

First time i know this  food from my pakistani student...vegetable samosa...mmm, yummy
In India, i also saw this samosa.... maybe samosa is traditional food from india, or pakistan....wherever..lah...
but, in Maldives, i see many this kind of samosa...they eat every evening with hot tea...
the only thing different is this samosa is made from tuna, they call as bajiya....

Ingredients and directions;
1. for skin layer; (take 1 bowl of flour (its arround 200 gram something), put little salt, and 1/2 tsp baking powder. then put little by little water untill it is good to become dough to roll. then roll it, not too thin or thick. cut into small layer for covering.
2. fry onion, garlic,untill it become brown, then put tuna 3 spoon, mix it well, if needed put little water, put little salt and sugar for seasoning,then put fish curry powder. check wether taste is good or not. if you like chilli, can put chilli powder.
3. prepare 1 table spoon of flour, mix with 3 -4 table spoon of water. then put it along with frying tuna. mix it well.
4. take the dough layer, that already rolled before, put the tuna inside it, cover it. make the cover in triangle shape.
5. then fry it in enough hot oil, untill become brown.

skin/rind watermelon curry mix with tuna


Skin watermelon can be made as curry??? is it joking...??? well, yes, not kidding, its true, and  i tried to cook it...and its yummy ..

After searching from internet, in fact, people make skin/rind watermelon in India and pakistan....and people in Brunei darussalam  also make this skin watermelon as curry , they cook like tom yum curry...
so, this one is our recipe we made, me and my hubby, very yummy if we eat with bread....


Ingredients and directions:
1. cut green part from skin watermelon, so take only white part, cut it into small pieces
2. fry onion, and garlic, till it turns golden brown, then put 1 glass of water, rind watermelon, salt 1/2 tsp, 1/2 tsp tomate paste, 3-4 tsp tuna fish can, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, 1 tsp chili garlic sauce, 1 tsp fish curry powder. mix them all. cover the frying pan while cooking.
3. cook it until the rind watermelon become soft.
4. ready to serve eat with roshi, bread, paratha, roti cenai, or soft chapati....yummy..

pizza

Last friday, i made again pizza in frying pan same recipe that i posted before (check my posting 'easy and quick pizza), see....its yummy...very simple, quick and easy to make. no need any oven. eventhough not thick like in pizza cafee, but for taste, i can guarantee..its yummy

acar egg curry




Ingredients and directions;
1. boiled egg (5 egg), cut it into half pieces
2. fry onion, garlic, till become golden brown, then put egg, fry it. put half of glass water, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp corriender, 1/2 tsp cummin, 1/2 tsp chili, 1/2 tsp furmeric, 1 tsp chili sauce, and 1 tsp tomato sauce.
3. mix them all
4. put some slices of fresh cucumber

eat with hot rice or bread...

Banana steam cake, steamed in rice cooker

mmm, yummy, since my baby like eating banana and cake, so come up in my mind to make banana cake. well, i made it in rice cooker. very easy and simple. here i share the recipe
for mini banana steam cake, the ingredients are;
1. flour (half bowl, maybe arround 100 gram or something)
2. sugar 2 table spoon
3. one ripe banana
4. one egg
5. 1/2 tsp baking powder
6. 1/2 tsp baking soda
7. 1 tsp coconut powder
8. little salt
9. water (half of small glass, maybe arround 50 ml or something)

crush banana, and mix them all. get it steam in rice cooker until become brown.

fried kangkung with tuna

Very lucky here, i can get kangkung, so i really miss food recipe from my home country...
so, today i decided to fry kangkung mix with tuna....very yummy if you eat with hot rice.....mmmm

Ingredients and directions;
1. cut kangkung into small pieces, but dont forget to clean it first
2. fry some slices of onion until become golden brown, then put kangkung, tuna can (take 2 table spoon), 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp chicken curry powder, and 1/2 tsp fish curry powder. mix it.
3. when it is properly cook, take it and ready to serve

noodle pizza

In my place, we call this martabak mie, but looks cool if i say noodle pizza....
this pizza is also simple to make, no need any oven.
this is very very simple recipe......its yummy to eat this during this rainy season or anytime lah...
you can put chilli sauce or tomato sauce, whatever you like....

ingredients and direction;
1.1 packet of noodle, boil the noodle until it soft, then dry it
2. prepare 2 egg, 1/4 tsp salt, and seasoning packet from noodle. mix with noodle, then fry it

cake custard pudding

Ingredients and directions:
1. make custard,  follow the instruction from the can of custard, make it a bit liquid, so put much condensed milk.
2. prepare for making cake, 1/2 bawl of flour (arround 150 gram maybe), 2 table spoon of sugar, 1/2 water of small glass, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp baking powder. mix them and bake it.
3. cut the cake into small pieces and put the custanrd on it.

olala oyster sauce cucumber fried egg curry

This is modified curry from tuna olala curry, i replace tuna with freid egg with same recipe ...mmm yummy

very quick and easy sausage pizza without oven

This is the first time my experiment making pizza, at home i have no oven only frying pan. but since i like eating pizza, i searched and googled how to make pizza without oven. then today finally i can make it with simple recipe. It is very simple, and quick..and for taste no doubtful..very yummy...like oven pizza. so here i share my experience........

Ingredients and direction;
1. first take 3 pieces of sausage, bolied it, then cut it into small pieces.
2. fry some slices of onion and garlic, then  put 2 or 3 table spoon of tomato sauce, put little sugar for seasoning.
3. put the sausage. mix it.
4. preapare for dough; take 1 bowl of flour (maybe arround 200 gram something), mix with 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 4 tsp oil, and little yeast solution. put water arround 100 ml little by little until the dough is good  enough for rolling. if water not enough, put lillte more.
5. roll the dough, a bit thick, put it into oily frying pan  (i prefer to use margarine for baking)
6. then put some cheese on it, and the sausage curry that prepared before on top of it.
7. bake it, in low flame, and cover the frying pan while baking.

note: yeat solution means little yeast dried extract put into little warm water.
you can modify any thing for topping, since i only have sausage at the moment, so i only make sausage pizza.

tuna coconut tasty 'mashooni'

This is traditional food from maldives, even you can find this delicious food in some resorts there. Usually people eat this food during breakfast. Its very simple to make it, no need any frying at all.

Ingredients and direction:
1.grinded coconut from 1 full fresh coconut
2. one can of tuna
3. salt 1 tsp
4. slices of red onion, i took half from big size onion (or 3 onion if it is small size)
5. 1/2 of lemon, squize it
6. 1 green chilli, or if you like chilli taste, put more. cut into slices.
7. mix all the ingredients together

thats it!! eat with bread and a cup of hot milo or tea.....yummy

sweet chili slices potato

this delicious potato is very yummy if you eat with bread
here the ingredients and steps;
1. take 2 or 3 medium size of potato, clean it and cut into slices (see the photo above)
2. fry potato in enough hot oil till it soft, then dry it
3. fry little slices of onion, put water 1/2 glass, oyster sauce 5 tsp, salty soya sauce 3 tsp, red chilli powder 1 and 1/2 tsp, and put sugar 3/4 tsp. mix them all, stir it..
4. put fried slices potato onto it
5. ready to serve

sweet 'olala' cucumber oyster sauce tuna



I v just made experiment, cooking tuna with cucumber..fantastic.....cant beat the taste!! its yummy to eat with roshi (bread)....mmmmm
so here the ingredients and steps:
1. cut cucumber and tuna into small cube pieces
2. cut onion garlic and little ginger, fry it with little oil, until bown golden, then put the tuna, fry it untilbrown golden
3. put little water, the put 2 spoon of oyster sauce, 3 spoon salty soya sauce, and 2 tsp sugar. mix it..
4. put cucumber, and mix it..
5. to make a bit thick curry, put 1 tsp corn flour
6. ready to serve



crispy fried potato ala kfc

i made same ingredients for this fried potato with fried chicken, but see the result..mmmm yummy, crispy...and very tasty...

Ingredients and steps:
1. potato 2 or 3 medium size, cut it into long pieces size.
2. prepare the flour; flour 1/2 glass, salt 1 tsp, chilli powder 1 tsp, pepper powder 1 tsp, and baking powder
   1/2 tsp. mix them all
3. then put the potato into the mixing flour, then fry it in enough oil (deep frying is good!)

crispy fried chicken ala kfc

my first experiment making this, and succesfulll.....i love it kfc....
so, here the recipe
ingredients and steps;
1. 4 legs (with the skin) of chicken
2. put the chicken into this sauce; 1 spoon lemon acid, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, plus little water.
    keep it for minimum 30 minutes in the freeze.
3. prepare the flour 1 glass, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, 1/2 tsp chilli powder. 
   mix them all.

4. then mix the chicken with it, when you mix it press outside the flour in the chicken, like you are washing
   clothe with your hands. do it 2-3 x
5. then put the chicken into cold water (take the water from fridge, its better) then repeat do no.4
6. fry it in much oil, deep frying its better.

crispy ba'wan

ingredients:
1. flour
2. carrot,cabbage, cut into very small pieces (or chopped)
3. chopped gralic
4. 1/2 tsp salt
5. water 1 glass
6. 1/2 tsp pepper powder
mix them all, then fry in enough oil

oyster sauce chicken

Ingredients and steps:
1. 4 legs chicken
2. for marination; 2 spoon lemon acid, 3/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, 2 tsp soya sauce.
    put the chiken into it for 30 minutes
3. then fry it in enough oil
4. prepare for sauce; 2 spoon margarine, 2 spoon oil, some slices onion and garlic, 2 spoon oyster sauce, 3  
   spoon salt soya sauce and 2 tsp sugar. little water if needed
5. fry for the sauce items, then put the fried chicken

classic potato curry

Ingredients:
1. potato 2- 3 pieces, cut into small pieces
2. 1 glass of water
3. 1/2 tsp salt
4. 2 full spoon tuna fish
3. 1 tsp chicken curry
4. 1 tsp fish curry
5. 1/2  tsp tomato paste
6. 1 tsp tomato sauce
7. 1 tsp chilli sauce

Chilli tuna


this is my recipe for chilli tuna curry.
Ingredients:
1. tuna fish 100 gram
2. water 1 glass
3. salt 1/2 tsp
4. tomato paste 2 tsp
5. tomato sauce 1 tsp
6. chilli sauce 1 tsp
7. red chilli powder  1tsp
8. pepper 1 tsp
9. fish curry 1 tsp
10. sugar 1/2 tsp
11. and some slices of onion, garlic, tomato for frying
12. oil for frying

steps
1. fry fish fish until it become brown
2. fry onion, garlic, tomato, untill brown, then put water, tomato paste, sauce, salt sugar,pepper, chilli, together. mix it properly. put the fish into it
3. serve for 2 people

crispy fried tuna fish

sometimes i call this food KFT, Kentucky fried Tuna..he..he...just imagine like KFC...

Ingredients:
1. tuna fish ( maybe arround 1/2 kg)
2. flour ( i used arround 7-8 big spoon)
3. salt (2 1/2 tsp)
4. red chilli powder (3 tsp)
4. pepper powder (1 tsp)
5. oil for frying
6.litte water

steps
first clean fish, and cut into small pieces. then prepare one plate to mix flour, salt, pepper and chili. when it mixed properly, put the fish into it, then fry in enough hot oil, untill it get brown and look crispy. thats it! very simple right....he..he..

Spaghetti with Toamato sauce fish taste


toay is friday, so we cook special food, that is sphagetti with fish tomato taste. this recipe is made by my husband, Faisal d chef today. so here we go

Ingredients:
1. spaghetti 1 pack 400 gram
2. water
3. salt

for curry:
1. Peeled tomato, tomato in juice, 1 can (400 gram)
2. 1/2 glass of water
3. 1 1/2 tsp salt
4. tomato sauce 1/2tsp
5. tomato paste 1/2 tsp
6. Tuna fish can 1 can
7. red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
8. pepper powder 1/2 tsp
9. little onion, garlic and tomato for frying
10. oil for frying

step;
1. cook spaghetti in boiled water for few minutes till it become soft, put a little bit salt
2. when it become soft, dry it
3. fry onion, garlic, tomato in hot oil till become a bit brown, then put fish can, tomato peeled, tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper, and chili
4. mix the curry properly, and cook for 5 minutes
5. serve it with spaghetti

oyster sauce potato

so, here is the recipe for today, which the main ingredient is potato. yup!!

ingredients;
1. potato, take 3 pieces, big size
2. green beans, maybe arround 5 pieces.
3. water 1 glass
4. salat 1/2 tsp
5. little onion, garlic, tomato
6. oyster sauce 1 big spoon
7. pepper powder 1/2 tsp
8. red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
9. sugar 1 tsp
10. and little oil for frying

then next step:
1. cut potato and beans into small pieces, and fry for few minutes till it get soft. then dry it
2. fry onion, garlic, tomato, till a bit brown, then put water, oyster sauce, salt, sugar, pepper, and chili together.
3. mix it with fried potato and beans
cheers,....ready to serve for 2 people!

sweet chili egg


i was thinking that i want something sweet and chili taste. so what i did, i opened fridge, and my eyes stares deeply to egg. so, this what i cook today. i call sweet chili egg. it is so tasty...very yummy...

ingredients:
1. 4 egg
2. 1 glass of water
3. little onion, garlic, chili, tomato and oil for frying
4. salt 1/2 tsp
5. sugar 1 tsp
6. oyster sauce 2 tsp
7. salty soya sauce 1 tsp
8. pepper powder 1/2 tsp
9. red chili powder 1 tsp

steps:
1. first prepare 4 egg, then boil in the water for few minutes. dry it and cut into 2 pieces.
2. then, fry onion, garlic, tomato in hot oil, till become a bit brown, and nice onion smell will come
3. put 1 glass of water, salt, sugar, oyster sauce, soya sauce, red chili and pepper.
4. mix it properly
5. put egg into it
ready to serve for 2 people

Yummy mix vegetables


all right,  this what i call mix vegetable yummy. its look like "gado gado" right? actually i want to make gado gado, but unfortunely here i cant find the ingredients for it. so, this gado gado ala...south east Asia...
Ingredients:
1. vegetables, like green beans, carrot, cabbage, leaves. cut them into small pieces.
2.water 1 glass
3. salt 1 small spoon
4. tuna fish can , 1 can or half is also ok
5. red chili pepper powder 1 and 1/2 small spoon
6. pepper powder 1/2 small spoon
7. tomato paste 1/2 small spoon
8. sugar 1 small spoon
8. fish curry powder 1 small spoon
9. onion and little oil  for frying

so, first fry onin in hot oil, put all vegetbleas and water, let it become soft, then put all the ingredients. easy, very simple. serve for 2 people.

Terocis Sausage


Well, this what i cooked today, i give the name of this food "terocis sausage" , tero means terong (indonesian language) that is exactly purpler eggplant, and "cis" here is a short of buncis (indonesian language) means green beans.
 ok, here we are, the ingredients and steps.
Ingredients:

1. egg plant (1)
2. grean beans (maybe arround 15 pieces)
3. sausage (1, i used here chicken taste sausage)
4. red onion and garlic
5. red chilli powder (1 small spoon)
6. pepper powder (1/2 small spoon)
7. water (1 glass)
8. salt (1/2 small spoon)
9. oyster sauce (1 1/2 small spoon)
10. sugar (1 small spoon)
soya sauce (1 small spoon)
11. little oil for frying
12. tomato

steps:
cut egg plant, sausage, and green beans into small pieces. cut onion and garlic and fry in hot oil. pour the water and vegetable, and keep it until the vegetables become soft. then put all; red chili, pepper, oyster sauce, soya sauce, salt, sugar, and mix it properly. cut slices of tomato and put it, stir well. and done!! ready to serve for 2 people.

mmmmm, it is very tasty if you eat with rice....
